Ordered fence panels and boards. Got a delivery date, but on the day was told by the driver that half the stuff was not in stock....

Rang (several times) managed to speak to someone who promised to call back with estimated delivery date.. 2 weeks later.. still no call
Thought I'd shop local to support local business... big mistake!!.. buyer beware, shop elsewhere..
I can’t fault the products sold by grangewood. This is now my second order and I’ve been impressed on both occasions. And the vast majority of staff are great too. But it’s such a shame how one person’s attitude can change your opinion.
One of the guys at the Coleshill branch needs a lesson in customer service. Unbeknown to me, I turned up ten minutes before closing on a Saturday. Two members of staff were great - they even gathered my order and helped me load my car. But the guy in the office was awful. Couldn’t have made it any clearer that I was an inconvenience to him. Not a word of thanks for my custom and for some reason I ended up apologising to him. I wouldn’t mind but I had purchased and loaded my order and left the store before it was due to close at 12. A friendly “mate just so you know, we close in ten minutes” would have been enough to speed me along. Instead he thought it was more appropriate to roll his eyes and huff.
Given everything currently going on in the world right now this guy might want to be a little more grateful for having a job and customers willing to pay for goods. There’s plenty of people worse off right now.
Bottom line: you’ll get good stuff from grangewood but if this guys around and it’s nearing the end of his shift, don’t expect a friendly customer experience.

Absolutely awful customer service in the Tamworth branch. Never answer their phone and just expect you to know when your order is ready. Wouldn't use this company again
I placed my large order on 21/4 for a variety of concrete fence posts, gravel boards and postcrete. Had a phone call within 48 working hours of me placing my order to advise one item was arriving in stock this week and that such a large order, quite a distance from the depot would require two trucks at the same time so it may take a few days to arrange delivery. I was grateful for the call and update as I understand material supply is in high demand and the supply chain is problematic nationally. Got a call on 4 of May stating my delivery would be with me today as they had managed to arrange the bigger truck so it can come in one load. Delivery arrived within specified time, great quality products, friendly driver to unload. Could not wish for a better service. In the current climate I did not expect delivery so quickly. Their website stated it was a 7-10day lead time and my delivery came 8 working days from placing my order. Highly recommend and great communication throughout.
Went in to Tamworth branch to pick up one 2.4m decking joist, only to be told that it was delivery or click and collect only. Absolutely no mention of this on the website. Back home, ordered for c & c on 24th April, waited for contact to say it was ready. Nothing up to today, 4th May. Phoned main tel. no., no answer for several attempts so phoned branch.
Told if I hadn't been contacted, it was probably out of stick, then went to check order. Oh, you can come and fetch one now. How long would I have waited, if I hadn't phoned????
Like many reviewers, won't be using again. Used to be a good company, seems liks they've gone seriously downhill.

Great service ordered two concrete posts via the web site on Saturday and they were delivered Monday lunchtime. Fantastic service would definitely recommend.

No call to advise of delivery... came back from work to find my delivery dumped on my drive... my fence panels were saturated as it had rained heavily all day.... two of the panels were damaged... contacted Grangewood. .. not at all interested. ..

A much-maligned business on here - perhaps unfairly, in my experience.
Ordered a pile of stuff ten days ago: all arrived earlier this week after a 'phone call from them to check whether we'd accept a substitution based on colour (we were).
From the lady I spoke to initially - and quizzed based on these reviews - to the two blokes in the Leamington depot I spoke to later about the colour and delivery, all was good.
I know they had some difficulty as the Covid-19 lockdown hit, but the same can be said for very many other businesses. It's how they deal with the problems that matters.
Good prices as well, so I've nothing to complain about.
The best service I have had in years. Needed a difficult to source panel. The staff at Derby rang round to get for me. Came really quick and the cheapest price too.????????
Order#51530 ordered11 decking boards to finish a job. Advised delivery would be within 21 days. Have used this company once before and received poor service, but decided to give them a 2nd chance. More fool me. They have taken my money for goods they have now told me they cannot supply and won't answer the phones,when they do answer they are extremely cagey with info. When I asked for a refund I was advised to call their accountant. The call went unanswered despite numerous attempts. I called the centre again and got the mobile number of the General Manager. I asked him why they took my money for goods they could not supply having had ample opportunity to inform me and he avoided the question by offering me a same day delivery out of stock he had coming in from another customer. The promise has still to be fulfilled. I do not recommend using this company. They have no issues taking your money and not providing what you have paid for, but they have a big issue explaining why.
Very good service, 2nd time I have purchased goods from Grangewood Fencing. Despite being advised of up to a 21 day delivery schedule due to Covid, I received my goods the very next day after ordering, delivered by one of the most pleasant and helpful of couriers.
The only area that could be improved on is communication.
Do not purchase from this company, they are still taking orders for goods they cannot supply whilst immediately removing funds from account. The phones and email don’t appear to be staffed. Struggling to get refund due to zero ability to make contact.
